Educators select graduate course options to complete 30 and 120 pd contact hours over four years during the initial certification years 1 to 4, or 15 and 30 hours annually during career certification years 5 to 99. Contact of 30 hours must be completed for an Initial Professional Certificate (IPC) with 90 hours for an Initial Career Education Certificate (ICEC) certification requirements.

  • Many districts accept Professional Development Hours for salary advancement. Be sure to select the appropriate documentation, either certificate of completion or an official university transcript, to meet your academic goal.
