Mentoring programs are effective in school settings for many reasons. They increase student autonomy, benefit emotional and academic development and students become agents of change. Mentoring programs can be designed in several ways- 1:1, small groups, peer to peer and peer to faculty. This course is designed to help you outline a mentoring program that will be tailored to your school’s specific needs. This course is appropriate for elementary teachers, secondary teachers, school support staff and administrators.
