Children’s literature is a great way to learn about history, Character Ed, other subjects, common core implementation, and different cultures. You can go to far away lands, experience topics one would be never have the opportunity to, or see through someone else’s eyes. Books can give a city kid background knowledge of farm life before they are able to visit one themselves, and the other way around. This course will explore many authors and artists through projects designed to go with the book at hand. Books will be the motivation for the your students as they love to be read to and learn about others.
