For the first time in our Nation’s history children being born today may not live as long as their parents! With 2/3 of the American Population obese something needs to change. This course will examine why we as a country are so overweight and obese. Solid research indicates a direct correlation between the foods we eat, being overweight/obese and disease! This course will focus on all ages levels K-12, with the importance being stressed at the younger age groups to help prevent obesity BEFORE it happens. Teachers K-12 will be able to make conscious, healthier choices for their students and their classrooms.
