PREZI and beyond! WATCH YOUR WORDS COME ALIVE! Prezi has an all-new platform called Prezi NEXT. This a course designed for all teachers, in all disciplines, and at all levels of education. Through a hands-on approach, participants will be able to create lessons and presentations that utilize the Web 2.0 tool, “Prezi.” Prezi is a tool that combines concept maps, posters, and presentations, into one very nicely integrated unit. Prezi’s ability to facilitate different learning styles is absolutely amazing! It allows educators and students to create non-linear presentations where you can zoom in and out of a visual map containing words, links, images, and videos. With a free Prezi account teachers and students can create their own independent presentations, or share via email and collaborate online in real time. Prezi is a Flash-based system that produces highly dynamic presentations and is a fantastic storytelling tool! Class will also experiment with Haiku Deck; Slideshare; Zohoshow, Kizoa, Adobe Spark, Powtoon, Google Slides, VisMe and other newer software and applications that creates presentations that inspires a global learning community. This course has been designed for school administrators, regular and special education teachers (grades K-12 and ages 5 to 21),special area teachers (gym, art, music) school psychologists, school counselors, guidance counselors, social workers, speech and language therapists and pathologists and occupational and physical therapists.
